Maple (Acer Drummondii) is a wonderful variegated form of Norway maple. It is known for its green lobed leaves with a creamy variegated margin in summer. The bright foliage also contrasts wonderfully well when planted with other maple trees such as Crimson King. Known for its bright emergence in spring time, ‘Drummondii’ leaves can turn bright yellow and orange in autumn. It prefers a slightly sheltered location and free draining soils. At Doonwood Nurseries our Drummondii Maple are supplied as healthy 6 foot trees but these beautiful trees can be expected to grow to 6 metres high and 3 metres wide after 20 years.
