Whitethorn Hedging
€1.50 – €2.00
Whitethorn hedging (Crataegus Monogyna) is a deciduous native plant that forms a fantastic hedge. Also knows as ‘Quix’, Whitethorn responds very well to hard pruning and can be used as a stock proof farm hedge or an ornamental hedge in any garden. Although deciduous, this hedge has bright colour for many months of the year. A whitethorn hedge heralds the arrival of spring, by bursting into leaf within a few days of the initial buds. Flowers in May.
These plants are sold as bare root plants.
