A cultivar of the common whitebeam with ecliptically rounded leaves it is coated with silver hairs on both sides of the leaves which make it very striking in Spring. It makes a medium sized conical neat tree which grows to about 5 metres after 20 years. The tree is covered in white flowers in spring and contrasts well with the pink flowering cherry tree. Trees are supplied at a healthy 6 foot height.

The Whitebeam Tree, (Sorbus Aria Lutescens) is a deciduous tree with ecliptically rounded leaves which are coated with silver hairs on both sides. This makes it very striking in spring. It makes a medium sized conical neat tree which grows to about 5 metres after 20 years. It's beautiful creamy-white flowers, produced in late spring, contrast really well when planted alongside the pink flowering cherry. The flowers offer a good nectar source for pollinators, therefore making it a welcome addition to any garden. Later in the year it produces orange-red berries so providing a great food source for birds. They like any well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade.
