Princeton Gold Maple (Acer Platanoides ‘Princeton Gold’) is an outstanding maple with striking golden foliage. Yellow clusters of small flowers appear on the bear branches in march/April. This maple can make a stunning contrast to its sister tree Crimson King. Known for its bright emergence in spring time, Princeton gold is a tree for all seasons while its leaves can turn orange and almost red in Autumn time. Prefers a slightly sheltered location.

Maple (Acer Platanoides Princeton Gold) is an outstanding maple and is known for its striking golden foliage. Yellow clusters of small flowers appear on the bare branches in March and April therefore offering early colour. It contrasts well when planted with other maple trees such as Crimson King. The two work well together. Known for its bright emergence in spring time, the Princeton Gold Maple is really a tree for all seasons because the leaves can turn orange and almost red in autumn. It prefers a slightly sheltered location and free draining soils. At Doonwood Nurseries our Princeton Gold Maple are supplied as healthy 6 to 7 foot potted plants but these beautiful trees can be expected to grow to 6 metres high and 3 metres wide after 20 years.
